Simpkins v. Simpkins, March 27, 2014

The Court affirmed the family court's findings regarding the income attributed to Mother for child support calculation purposes, but vacate the family court's custody and parenting time orders and remand these issues to the family court to enter its findings in compliance with A.R.S. § 25-403.B. The Court also found that the family court abused its discretion in assigning the entire credit card debt to Mother, and abused its discretion in awarding Father his attorney fees in the amount of $4000 without documentation or evidence and without giving Mother the opportunity to object. The Court's decision is available here.
